ABOUT
The 1978-born autodidact currently lives and works in Tel-Aviv. While having studied the arts in high school, she draws a unique life experience from spending over a decade as a fashion model in European cities such as London, Paris, Milan and Athens. Exhibiting for the first time in 2011, Goren has since presented nine solo shows and participated in dozens of group shows.
Goren bases her work on her personal life's diary, involving herself, her surroundings, her relationship, and her experiences.
She uses graphite only in drawings, and mixed media including ink and oil-stick on cardboard and wood for her paintings.
Her large-scale works are mostly oil on stretched and un-stretched canvas . Additionally, Goren has an expertise in various techniques of paper cutting and hand embroidery.
Goren's works are typically forceful, expressive, and on occasion include hints of social and political critique, as well combines research of her ancestors life and the Holocaust ,those are often presented with more than a hint of morbid humor. She describes her work as " Yidish-Goth ".
In her big projects Goren exhibited a due in Circle1 gallery-Berlin, published an artist book in collaboration with renowned Israeli poet Daniel Oz in 2017 combined with a solo exhibition with drawings from the book and had a solo exhibition in January 2019 in Zaritzky Artists House TLV curated by the renown artist Tsibi Geva .
Goren's last big solo exhibition "The Long-Dead" ,exhibited through April-June 21 in Hamidrasha Gallery in Tel Aviv and was curated by Yair Barak .
In July 2022 Goren had a due exhibition " Interested In a Double Headed" with renown international artist Avner Ben Gal in Maya gallery , Tel Aviv.
